1. Information Collection
We collect information necessary to operate our services and keep the platform secure, reliable, and useful. Depending on how you use the service, this may include:
- Real-time location data and precise GPS coordinates: the current mobile app does not request location permission, and we do not currently collect precise GPS coordinates in normal use.
- IP addresses and network metadata used for security, fraud prevention, and approximate regional service diagnostics.
- Account and profile data such as name, email address, phone number, and profile details you provide.
- Event and program check-in history including registration and attendance records with timestamps.
- Reviews, feedback, prayer requests, and support submissions that you choose to submit through platform forms.
- Payment and transaction data such as references, status, and order metadata for donations, bookings, and purchases.
- Push notification tokens used to deliver account and service notifications.
We may also collect technical diagnostics such as device type, app version, crash logs, and browser metadata to maintain platform performance.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal data to deliver and improve the platform experience. Primary use cases include:
- Account and access management including sign-in, account recovery, and profile maintenance.
- Event participation workflows including registration, attendance check-in, confirmations, and related updates.
- Transaction processing for donations, orders, bookings, and payment verification.
- Service communications such as operational alerts, push notifications, and support responses.
- Security operations including abuse detection, fraud prevention, and audit logging.
- Product reliability improvements using diagnostics and operational metrics.
- Targeted advertising and POI mapping: we do not currently run third-party targeted ad networks or precise-GPS POI mapping in the current app build.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information for unrestricted external use. We share data only in controlled circumstances, including:
- Church administrators and authorized organizers who need relevant registration and attendance information to deliver events and services.
- Third-party service providers that process payments, provide cloud media hosting, deliver notifications, or support infrastructure security under contractual safeguards.
- Other users only for content you intentionally make visible through platform features and settings.
- Legal and compliance disclosures when required by law, court order, or to enforce platform rights and safety obligations.
Where practical, shared data is minimized, pseudonymized, or aggregated to reduce privacy risk.
4. User Choices And Controls
You can manage how your information is collected and used through in-app controls and device-level permissions:
- Location permissions: the current app does not request location permission. If this changes in a future release, you can manage location access in device settings.
- Camera, microphone, and media permissions: you can enable or disable these in device settings.
- Check-in history and account data: you may request correction or deletion of your records through our support contact, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
- Notification controls: you can opt out of push notifications in device settings.
- Sharing controls: you may request limits on certain sharing activities where applicable law permits.
5. Data Security And Retention
We implement enterprise-grade administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect personal information. Measures include encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive systems, role-based access controls, security monitoring, and periodic internal security reviews.
We retain data only for as long as required for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Retention periods vary by data type, account status, and regulatory obligations. When retention is no longer required, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
